Upon logging in to the website, you will be taken to the View Contacts page. Here you can see a complete list of all the contacts you have backed up to the secure server. This view will show the name, cell phone, home phone and work phone information of your contacts. You can see additional detail on each contact by clicking on the arrow next to the contact’s name. Clicking the arrow once again will hide the additional detail information.
There are two ways to add a new contact from the website. The first is the Quick Add option in the left panel that allows you to add a user’s name and a home, cell and/or work number. If you want to add a business, select the check box to enter business specific information. To save the contact to the secure server, click the ‘Add’ button in the left panel.
The second option to add contacts is to click the ‘Add New Contact’ button at the top of the page. Fill in the desired information and click the ‘Save Contact’ button to save your contact or click the ‘Cancel’ button to return to the View Contacts page.
To edit contact information, click the contact’s name to bring up the editable fields. Here you can change, add, or delete information on the contact. Click the ‘Save’ button to save your changes or ‘Cancel’ to return to the main contacts page.
To delete a contact, check the box by the contact name and click the ‘Delete Selected Contacts’ button at the top of the screen. This will remove the contact from the list view of contacts and place the contact into the deleted contacts folder. You can go to the deleted contacts folder to view or restore any of your deleted contacts. This deleted contact folder is your protection against accidentally deleting any desired contacts from the website.
To view your deleted contacts, click the Trash can located at the top of the screen. You will see a complete list of all the contacts you have deleted from your contact list.
To restore a deleted a contact, select the box to the left of the name and click the desired option in the top left corner of the screen. To permanently delete a contact, select the box to the left of the name and click the desired option in the top left corner of the screen.
To import contacts from another address book, click the Import Contacts button from the Contacts tab and follow the instructions provided.
Not all contacts on the website need to be on your phone. You can select which contacts on the website you want on your phone. To add or remove a contact on your phone from the website, select the contact’s name and click the ‘Add To Phone’ or ‘Remove From Phone’ buttons at the top of the screen. A blue phone icon next to the contact’s name means that contact will be saved onto your phone. A gray phone icon indicates that contact will only be available on the website.
Note: Deleting a contact from your phone will not remove the contact from the website. To delete the contact from the website, you must select the contact on the website and click the ‘Delete Contact’ button.
You can send updated contact information from the website to your phone at any time by clicking the ‘Update Phone’ button located in the left panel. The ‘Update Phone’ button will be highlighted when you have made changes to contact information on the website that can be sent to your phone.
